Falls Overlook Trail

The classic. A short, gently rolling loop with three viewing platforms above the main falls. Stroller-friendly the first half mile.

Moderate · 4.5 mi out-and-back

Carpenter Ridge Trail

Climbs through hemlock forest to an open ridge with views across the river valley. Elevation gain ~700 ft.

Easy · accessible

Riverwalk & Village Green

A paved, fully accessible path along the river, connecting Main Street, the Village Green, and Riverside Park.

A 45-minute narrated tour aboard the historic Falls Belle. Weekends, late May through October.

The river above the falls is designated catch-and-release for trout. Licenses available at the Visitor Center.

Carpenter Falls Historical Society

Exhibits on the 19th-century lumber and mill industry that built the town. Free; open Wed–Sun.
